The Sketch Board

All of our jewellery starts with a vision that draws from a source of inspiration. At Alana Maria, we take inspiration from everyday life, the people around us and the places we visit. Firstly we start by putting pen to paper as Alana and our team designers beginning conceptualise a new collection.

It is in the design room that the vision takes on a life of its own. In collaboration with our jewellers, we then focus on the intricacies of product development, experimenting with shapes, sizes, materials, stones and all the details that go into creating an AMJ piece.

Finding the perfect materials

At Alana Maria, we take great pride in sourcing the highest quality materials that fit the vision of every design while prioritising its lasting life. These materials are chosen for their durability, authenticity and beauty. In our workshop you’ll find 9k and 14k solid gold, 14k gold-filled, 925 sterling silver as well as diamonds and authentic Freshwater Pearls. Crafting beautiful pieces, that stand the test of time is integral to what we do.

The Work Shop

Our team of artisan jewellers carefully assemble each piece using their expert skills. From beading, cutting, soldering, filing and polishing our designs then take on the physical form. It is in the workshop here in Sydney, Australia that all our jewellery is produced by a female-led team. We are proud to be Australian Made.

The Photo Studio

The next step of the design process is to capture the beauty of each piece. Our creative team dedicate their time to scouting the perfect location, casting talent and vetting photographers to assemble the perfect team to produce a campaign that truly captures the beauty of each piece.

Using mood broads and briefing sessions, the creative team agrees on a concept before hitting the road. Our recent unreleased campaign saw the team jet off to Mexico.

The Shelf

The final stage of the process is bringing the finished piece of jewellery to our shelves. After all approvals have been made and the design has been perfected, the piece is ready to be shared with the world. Our retail team then spends time with Alana and the jewellers to learn about the design and what makes it so unique. Our visual merchandisers carefully curate our stores and pay particular attention to how the collection is displayed.
