Gold filled is not the same as solid gold. It is a fraction of the cost of solid gold and is made by bonding solid gold to a base metal to give it the appearance of gold. The process involves a high amount of heat and pressure and the resultant gold filled piece is typically more durable and of better quality than a gold plated piece.

Yes of course! we offer replacement backs for $5 a pair. (For Gold Filled or Sterling Silver) You can purchase our earring backs here.

At Alana Maria Jewellery we use, 9K and 14K Solid Gold, 14K White Gold, 14K and 18K Gold-Filled, Sterling Silver and Gold Vermeil metals. As well as Freshwater Pearls and diamonds.

To contact us for a return of an item please email, enquiries@alanamariajewellery.com to complete your return form and post it with your jewellery.

For eligible items, please lodge an exchange via our returns portal or in-store.

We recommend using our Size Guide to select your ring size. If you are unsure of your ring size you can purchase our Ring Sizer here.

It’s useful to use two small pins or needles to carefully and slowly detangle the knot. Avoid pulling too hard on the chain as this may result in stretching and possible breakage. However, if you are unable to untangle the knot, please feel free to bring in your jewellery to one of our stores and we will be more than happy to assist you. If you are unable to visit us in store, please get in touch with us and we can discuss with you the process of sending the piece back to us.

We recommend storing your pieces individually in our fabric pouches to ensure your pieces don't become scratched, tangled or tarnished.
