Muse of the Month: Ebony Aroha
This month’s muse is one of our own. A very close friend of the brand, Ebony Aroha has been part of the Alana Maria world for years, both behind the scenes and as a creative in her own right. Based in Sydney, the content creator and student shares her jewellery staples, creative inspiration and the quote that changed her perspective on everything.
What’s your favourite Alana Maria piece and why?
My favourite Alana Maria piece would be the Clementine necklace! It’s my comfort necklace, I literally never take it off, and it was my first purchase at Alana Maria too.
What’s a piece of jewellery you can’t live without?
I would say my engravable necklaces. My best friends and I all got matching engravable tag necklaces last year and I love that when I wear it I’m reminded of them.
If you could swap wardrobes with anyone for a day, who would it be?
Oh I love this question!! I am so obsessed with anything that @elizammcewen, @evameloche and @siennakitchener style and wear, so 100 percent either of them.
What’s a good piece of advice you’ve received recently?
I recently came across this quote: “Everything is a win when the goal is experience,” and that has truly changed my perspective on everything.
What’s a brand or creator you’re currently obsessed with and why?
I have been obsessing over the most recent campaign at @rhode, with their Summer Beach Club. Their marketing is so cool. I’m also so obsessed with @keziacook, she captures content so beautifully and has the coolest style.
